Thank you!
To all sailors, teams, staff, and partners,
The 2025 edition of the Marstrand 12 Metre Cup has once again shown the strength of tradition combined with the passion of the present. We wish to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who made this possible.
To the sailors and crews: your skill, sportsmanship, and determination brought the 12 Metre legacy alive on the waters of Marstrand. To the staff and volunteers: your tireless work behind the scenes ensured smooth execution and a welcoming atmosphere throughout the event.
A special thank you goes to our sponsors and partners, whose support not only elevates the regatta itself but also safeguards the continued growth and visibility of the 12 Metre Class. Your commitment strengthens both the competition and the community around it.
Together, you have made this edition a true success—one that will be remembered not just for the racing, but for the shared spirit of excellence, camaraderie, and heritage.
With appreciation,
The Marstrand 12 Metre Cup Organizing Committee

12 METRE MAGIC
The 115 year-old International 12 Metre Class encompasses a living history of racing yacht design by the world’s foremost naval architects including Olin Stephens, Clinton Crane, William Fife III, Philip Rhodes, Johan Anker, Ben Lexcen and more who pushed their designs to the very limits of innovation.
The resulting boats represented the pinnacle of yacht development from 1907-1987 for the highest levels of international sailing competition– the Olympic Games (1908-1920) and the America’s Cup (1958-1987).

MARSTRAND
In the far west, where the archipelago ends and the open sea begins, you find the island of Marstrand with Carlsten Fortress at the top. The sailing town and seaside resort Marstrand is a favourite with visitors. It is home to a harbour filled with all kinds of boats, cosy homes along car-free streets, top restaurants and cafées, sun and salty swims, music and spectacle.
