Welcome back

To all sailors, teams, staff, and partners,

Following a memorable 2025 edition of Marstrand 12 Metre Cup, we are honored to once again welcome you to Marstrand for the 12 Metre World Championship – Vintage & Antique Division, 18–22 August 2026.

Your return reflects the strength of this community where tradition is carried forward by those who sail, support, and shape the class. The level of craftsmanship, commitment, and collaboration continues to set a standard that few can match.

We look forward to welcoming you back to our waters, where heritage meets competition, and where the next chapter of the 12 Metre story will be written together.

With anticipation,
The Organizing Committee

12 METRE MAGIC

The International 12 Metre Class encompasses a living history of racing yacht design by the world’s foremost naval architects including Olin Stephens, Clinton Crane, William Fife III, Philip Rhodes, Johan Anker, Ben Lexcen and more who pushed their designs to the very limits of innovation.

The resulting boats represented the pinnacle of yacht development from 1907-1987 for the highest levels of international sailing competition– the Olympic Games (1908-1920) and the America’s Cup (1958-1987).
